Here are some common operations that you can perform on list pages.
List pages often allow you to search for data. "Searching" refers to finding records in the database based on one or more keywords. You enter the keyword(s) you want to search for at the top of the page, then press "Go" to retrieve the record(s) you're looking for.
List pages often allow you to filter data. You select the filter conditions you want at the top of the page, then press "Go" to retrieve the record(s) you're looking for.
"Finding" refers to locating some text right on the page you're viewing, especially for long pages. To find text, use your browser's "Find" capability. Usually this can be accessed by pressing Ctrl+F, or from the browser's menu. (Of course, you can use this feature anywhere, not just on list pages.)
"Sorting" refers to displaying a set of records in a particular order.
If a column header is a hyperlink, you can click on that link to sort by that column.
