News for May 2003
MakeLifeEasy is getting simpler, faster, and better:
- Automatic sign-in.
Turn on automatic sign-in,
then also ...
- Use a bookmark
for fast, easy access to the page(s) you use most.
- Improved menus! Now they're "sticky", not "flighty". Try them and you'll see.
Thanks for complaining!
- Improved Searching! Now you can search all of MakeLifeEasy at once
from several locations.
- Odds and ends (read this only if you're bored or fascinated):
- You can't select a startup page anymore when you sign in. You don't need to.
Use a bookmark - it's simpler and better.
- You have a simpler option when entering usage rates for assets.
You can enter "1 asset per [time period]".
That's the same as your "purchase rate".
Some members find this a simpler way to get started.
- You can now assign these "1 asset per" and "1 entity per" usage rates to needs, too.
- We learned something: we've eliminated the "Active?" state.
Assets now go from "Holding" to "Active".
- Re that, assets will go from "Active" to "Done" (not "Done?")
unless there's no other "Active" or "Holding" asset to cover the need.
- The Usage Rate Analysis page now shows "Holding" assets at the bottom
(as it was supposed to - sorry!).
- The Shopping Schedules' future shopping dates are now getting updated correctly
(sorry, again!). Oh, well. Not too many of you are using the shopping schedules.
(But you WILL!)
- When you "quick-add" a need, it was not "inheriting" its properties correctly. This has been fixed.
- Other little bug fixes and apple polishing.

it's now your focal point for all shopping functions.

- You can quickly add new needs one-at-a-time or "in bulk".

March "Glitch"
Last month, we performed some inventory "aging" late,
and we sent out some late email notices, too.
If you were confused by the timing of one of the emails you received, we apologize.
Strange Fun!
What is with these grocery list collection sites?
I've seen at least three of them now.
I like this one the best:
my collection of other people's grocery lists.
Especially go to the top 10 and check out #1 (list #126). It's profound...
