Add Many Needs

This page lets you load many needs at once under the standard top folders. It helps you create your own folders and needs using the standard folders and needs. You get several benefits when you use the standard folders and needs as much as possible. See need consistency.

You can use this page when you want to load many needs at once. For example, say you have decided to manage all of your Health & Beauty needs. You can view the Add Needs page for Health & Beauty items, check off the needs you want to load, and load them all at once. To use this page:

1. Find the top folder in the list for which you would like to bulk-load needs. The "Contains many" column shows which top folders have lots of supplies, or durables, or apparel. This is just a guideline.
2. If you have already created any folders under that top folder, you'll see the indicator that "(some already exist)". All this means is that you have at least one folder under that top folder.
3. Click on "Add needs..." to pop up the Add Needs page for that top folder. Add as many needs as you like.
4. Repeat the above for all the top folders for which you would like to add needs in bulk.

After loading these standard needs, you can modify them (e.g. change the names, add folders, adjust values, etc.) from several locations, including the Need Properties pages or the Retrieve a Need page.
