Once you've entered assets, MakeLifeEasy thinks it knows what you own,
and estimates your current and future inventory by "aging" your assets.
But sometimes MakeLifeEasy will be off, especially at the beginning when
it's learning your usage rates and patterns. You can bring it
back in line by "checking" the asset (taking physical inventory)
and updating the status and amount left
for assets that are "off". To do this:
- Find the asset(s) you're looking for:
- If the asset line in the list allows the status and amount left to be edited directly, you can do so.
- If only the asset name shows in the list:
- Click on the asset name to pop up the Asset Properties page.
- Click on "Quick Updates" to display the Quick Updates panel if it is not already displayed.
- Change the asset status and/or amount left as desired.
Often this means just setting an asset's status to "Done",
which also sets its amount left to zero (0).
