  • QUESTION:   How do I keep all these terms straight?

ANSWER: The four main "objects" in your MakeLifeEasy database are folders, needs, assets, and products. This sentence is a mouthful, but it ties all four of these together:

    Products you buy
    become Assets you own
    that cover Needs you have
    that are organized in Folders.

  • QUESTION:   What's the difference between a product and an asset?

    ANSWER: They're pretty close, but:
    • A product is something offered by a merchant (a seller) for sale.

    • An asset is something you own.

    • After you buy a product, it becomes one of your assets.

  • QUESTION:   What do "-STD------", "-----mine-", and "-STD+mine-" mean?

    ANSWER: See Need consistency.
